چکیده
Abstract. Bivariate wavelet coherency is a measure of correlation between two variables in the location–scale (spatial data) or time–frequency (time series) domain. It particularly suited to geoscience, where relationships multiple differ with locations (times) and/or scales (frequencies) because various processes involved. However, it well-known that bivariate can be misleading when both are dependent on other variables. Partial (PWC) has been proposed detect scale-specific and localized by excluding effects but limited one variable provides no phase information. We aim develop new PWC method deal provide Both stationary non-stationary artificial datasets response being sum five cosine waves at 256 used test method. The was also applied free water evaporation dataset. Our results verified advantages capturing information dealing Where there variable, implementation produces higher more accurate values than previously published mistakenly considered real coherence rather complex coherence. suggest untangle after removing geosciences. implementations were coded Matlab freely accessible (https://figshare.com/s/bc97956f43fe5734c784, last access: 14 January 2021).

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Field Programmable Gate Array–based Implementation of an Improved Algorithm for Objects Distance Measurement (TECHNICAL NOTE)
In this work, the design of a low-cost, field programmable gate array (FPGA)-based digital hardware platform that implements image processing algorithms for real-time distance measurement is presented. Using embedded development kit (EDK) tools from Xilinx, the system is developed on a spartan3 / xc3s400, one of the common and low cost field programmable gate arrays from the Xilinx Spartan fami...
متن کاملImproved Wavelet Threshold for Gray Scale Image Denoising
During the image acquisition and communication the image is corrupted by noise. This is a classical problem in the field of signal or image processing. A new compromise threshold method that improves performance is presented, based on the standard compromise threshold method, yet more flexible and easier to treat mathematically. The improved adaptive wavelet compromise method avoids the discont...
متن کاملpassivity in waiting for godot and endgame: a psychoanalytic reading
this study intends to investigate samuel beckett’s waiting for godot and endgame under the lacanian psychoanalysis. it begins by explaining the most important concepts of lacanian psychoanalysis. the beckettian characters are studied regarding their state of unconscious, and not the state of consciousness as is common in most beckett studies. according to lacan, language plays the sole role in ...
Effect of CO2 Partial Pressure on the Thermal Decomposition Kinetics of Zinc Carbonate Hydroxide (TECHNICAL NOTE)
In this work, the effect of carbon dioxide partial pressure on the calcination kinetics of high purity zinc carbonate hydroxide has been studied. Non-isothermal analysis has been performed on samples at different CO2 partial pressures by TGA and DTA. It has been found that the calcination behaviour of this material corresponds to the shrinking core model and the reaction mechanism is phase boun...
